La Librería Reina Mercedes es un verdadero templo para los arquitectos y aparejadores de Sevilla. Situada frente a la facultad e inaugurada en 1967, José Antonio Barrera y Carlos Pedraza, como tantos otros, acumulan vivencias en ella desde sus tiempos como estudiantes. En 2016, con la jubilación de su antiguo propietario, estuvo a punto de echar el cierre definitivo para convertirse, tal vez, en una baguetería como las que abundan en la zona. Sin embargo, Carlos y José Antonio decidieron invertir sus ahorros para evitarlo. Ahora la Librería RM, la única librería especializada en Arquitectura y Diseño en Andalucía, cumple medio siglo con una profunda renovación de fondos y explorando también la venta online.
