Eugenio Domínguez Vilches es el actual rector de la Universidad Internacional de Andalucía, la UNIA, universidad pública que ofrece enseñanza de posgrado, máster, doctorado y formación especializada. Ocupa el cargo desde octubre de 2013. Doctor en Biología por la Universidad de Sevilla y catedrático de Botánica por la Universidad de Córdoba, fue rector de este último distrito universitario entre 1996 y 2008. Entusiasta de la aeronáutica, es también profesor de Historia de la Aviación.
