Cristóbal Aránega llevaba toda la vida ligado al mundo de la agricultura de la mano de su padre cuando en 1995 decidió lanzarse al mundo empresarial y creó en Chirivel, Almería,  la empresa Crisara, dedicada a prestar servicios especializados en agricultura y medio ambiente. Una apuesta decidida por la agricultura ecológica con la comercialización de productos sin residuos, respetuosos con la salud y el medio ambiente.  Labor con la que se ha abierto paso por muchos países como Angola o República Dominicana y que ha sido reconocida a través de diversos galardones como el Premio de Excelencia a la Innovación para Mujeres Rurales 2012 otorgado por el Ministerio de Agricultura o el de Defensa del Medio Ambiente de la Fundación Social Universal.
