‘Adopta un abuelo’ es un programa de voluntariado para luchar contra la soledad de las personas mayores. Ya se ha implantado en varias ciudades españolas, entre ellas Granada, y busca que los mayores que viven en residencias y no reciben visitas se sientan escuchados, queridos y acompañados. Los voluntarios se organizan por parejas y se les asigna un abuelo o una abuela, a los que realizan visitas de hora y media de duración.
