Desde hace algo más de un año, los vecinos de la barriada de Las Palmeras en Córdoba cuentan con su propia emisora de radio desde donde ponen su empeño en que las noticias que aparecen en los medios sobre su entorno no sean siempre negativas. Con este objetivo nace Onda Palmeras Córdoba, una radio impulsada por un grupo de voluntarios que trabajan con los jóvenes de la zona, tras participar en un curso de formación impulsado por el Instituto Andaluz de la Juventud. Actualmente emiten dos programas semanales a través de la plataforma digital iVoox pero su próximo reto es lograr instalar una antena de radio, para que a los vecinos les sea más fácil escucharlos.
