Un equipo de investigación de la Universidad de Huelva del grupo de Investigación de Sistemas Electrónicos y Mecatrónica, ha ideado un sistema inalámbrico a través de un software que permite detectar en tiempo real fallos críticos en cualquier tipo de motor, midiendo parámetros como el aumento de temperatura, las vibraciones o variaciones en el suministro eléctrico y picos de tensión. El dispositivo supone un ahorro de tiempo y recursos: mediante una conexión wifi, a través de un smartphone o un ordenador portátil, permite conocer la situación de los motores sin necesidad de desplazar a personal especializado.
