Procedentes de la docencia y la investigación en el ámbito universitario, Eduardo Ros y Javier Díaz decidieron crear en 2006 Seven Solutions, una spin-off de la Universidad de Granada que se dedica al desarrollo de sistemas para aplicaciones industriales e industria para la ciencia. Entre sus clientes están Airbus y el CERN, la Organización Europea para la Investigación Nuclear, con la que colaboran en el acelerador de partículas de Suiza. En 2016, en un encuentro en Bruselas, consiguen el premio al mejor discurso emprendedor entre 300 empresas europeas.
