Investigadores de la Universidad de Granada han demostrado con varios experimentos en ratas que el consumo crónico de melatonina combate la obesidad y la diabetes. Estos investigadores recomiendan dormir completamente a oscuras para que no haya interferencias en la generación de esta hormona.
