Un equipo de investigación de la Universidad de Jaén ha trabajado en el diseño de utensilios de cata de aceite de oliva virgen extra, AOVE, para acercar este producto al gran público. Con este trabajo ha desarrollado la idea de una empresa, Elaia Zait, que detectó que no existían en el mercado utensilios de menaje específicos para que el público no profesional pueda apreciar las propiedades sensoriales de los AOVE.
